Hayley Frapwell
I've been open water and cold water swimming year-round for over 10 years. I run introduction to cold water swimming sessions at the lakes and love helping others discover the joys of the water.
Over the years, I’ve completed swim events like the Dart 10k, Wild Wye Swim, and the Polar Bear challenges. These days, I prefer soaking up the beauty of lakes, seas, and rivers, sharing swims with friends, and embracing the outdoors. While I still train in the pool regularly, I much prefer the freedom of wild swimming to the confines of a hot, chlorinated tank.
As a former mountain rescue member and swift water technician (with SARA), I’m also qualified in water safety, rescue, and first aid. I run Wye Not Swim, a community Facebook swim group bringing together like-minded swimmers.
I live locally with my husband, two boys, a dog, and a cat, and I’m passionate about connecting with nature and inspiring others to do the same.
