Introduction to open water swimming
New to open water swimming or looking to build confidence? Join our relaxed introductory sessions, led by our trained and experienced open water swimmers. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills to enjoy outdoor swims safely—wherever you go. We’ll cover key topics like safety, kit and equipment, cold water shock, types of venues and different bodies of water, and post-swim warm up and recovery. There’s plenty of time for questions, and we’ll finish with a dip (or swim, depending on the temperature) and a warm drink from our lovely lakeside café.

Yoga

Somatic movement&Yin yoga
Join Nix on Friday mornings for Yoga on the Mat.
We will explore new movement patterns to get you out of thinking into feeling. Potentially unlocking held patterns & tension
Nix's classes are open to all who wish to explore their bodies , she will safely guide you& offer adaptations and props to help support you on your yoga journey.
Aerial yoga - Chill&Fly
Aerial yoga combines traditional asana (the physical postures of yoga) and yoga philosophies with the aerial arts using an aerial hammock.
You can be fully supported by the hammock — wrapping around particular body parts, keeping other parts on the floor.
Hanging fully or suspending individual body parts is believed to create traction and open your body more gently and intuitively than when you’re on the floor.

With over 20 year’s experience in the industry, I run CLR Fitness and offer a wide range of group sessions and 121 training for all your needs. I will be offering outdoor group fitness classes at these beautiful lakes and you will also spot me swimming around as I love it! Although always fully wetsuited for me as I am a cold one!
I am married to the lovely Chris and we have one beautiful son Fraser and a gorgeous Spaniel called Joe Cocker.
Exercise should be for everyone so all abilities and fitness levels be will welcome in my sessions.
Paddleboarding
SUP Yoga
Paddleboarding Adventures are joining us at Court Farm lakes to bring you an impeccable, fun and empowering experience on the water. Sessions are delivered in a supportive environment that invite you to learn and play at your edge. Paddle boarding is a great way to get out in nature, supporting mental and physical health and wellbeing.

Paddleboard Yoga is ideal for newbies right through to experienced Yogis. It offers fun, challenge and peace in equal measures. Your session starts with a gentle guided paddle before dropping anchor and enjoying a mixed ability class . All SUP/Yoga abilities welcomed.
Classes run Thursdays 6.30-8pm June 5th - August 28th

Swim with Ray

Ray Farr is an Open water swim coach, wild swimmer and adventure swim guide.
Ray offers a number of sessions at Court Farm lakes.
Swimercise -
Weekly swim session for exercise. Work on your fitness, stamina and technique. This includes swim interval training and sets. Core work, aerobic exercises.& stretches
Starts Sunday 22nd June

Swim Technique sessions ideal for swimmers who want to move onto front crawl or just need a confidence boost with their swim style.
