Site Rules
While we’re generally fairly laid back, we do need to insist on a small number of rules for everyone’s safety. All use of our site is subject to these rules - breaking any could result in you being asked to leave the site, or even being permanently banned.

-
Respect and listen to lake staff instructions, especially in emergency situations.
-
Respect other lake users.
-
Safety devices are mandatory for all lake users: Tow floats for swimmers/dippers, and life jackets for paddleboarders.
-
We have a lower age limit for all lake users - 14+ during the warm season (Apr-Oct) and 16+ cold season (Nov-Mar). All under-18s must be accompanied at all times on site by a responsible adult.
-
Dogs must be kept under control at all times - any dog fouls must be picked up immediately and disposed of responsibly, and dogs must not bother wildlife or other site users.
-
There is a STRICT 5mph speed limit across the whole site, as we are on a working farm.
-
No jumping/diving into the water
-
No alcohol or intoxication
-
No external food or drink to be consumed on-site.
-
Only soft-shelled inflatable paddleboards to be used in the water - no other watercraft (e.g. canoes, model boats etc)
-
Visitors to the lake must not feed the wildlife.
-
Do not throw any objects into the lake.
-
Visitors must ensure that any equipment that has been used in any other bodies of water must be thoroughly cleaned before use in Court Farm Lakes.
