About this session
A typical session lasts 40 minutes and includes a warm-up, aerobic movements, strength exercises, and a cool-down. Beyond the physical benefits, this class provides a sense of community, after class its time for tea and socialising in the cafe (hot drink included) Exercises range from "seated marching" for cardio to "tummy twists" for core strength and "leg extensions" for lower body toning. Classes incorporate resistance bands, hand weights, small balls and more to increase the challenge. Strengthens muscles used for daily tasks like washing, dressing, and shopping. Enhances balance and coordination, which are critical for preventing injuries. Ideal for those recovering from injury, managing chronic conditions (like arthritis or Parkinson's), or wheelchair users.
