Regular meet-ups
Our swimming community have set up a number of groups to provide safe spaces to connect, socialise and swim together.
Cold water swimming is a great form of therapy for both mind and body. From boosting the mood to enhancing resilience, the bennefits go far beyond the initial shock of the chill.
Social connections are just as important mental physical health.
we want to bring these two things together to build a network that helps support each other.
The group has Monthly meet ups the last Saturday in the month with Barry.

Your host - Sam
Sam is the founder of Voyage to You and a passionate advocate for women’s health. She was diagnosed with premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) at the age of 35, and felt incredibly isolated and disconnected - as though no one else her age was facing menopausal symptoms. Struggling to find information that resonated with her experience and not identifying with the common stereotypes of menopause, Sam faced intense fatigue and uncertainty about how to manage her wellbeing long-term.
This experience inspired her to pursue a diploma in Nutritional Therapy and become a certified Menopause Coach. What began as a personal quest to understand and support her own health evolved into a mission to empower other women through education and connection.
Today, Sam is a health coach specialising in supporting women experiencing menopause and POI, with a particular focus on how nutrition can help manage symptoms. She works both in person and online, facilitating women’s circles, group workshops, and 1-to-1 coaching sessions - helping women feel informed, supported, and never alone on their journey.
"

I started wild swimming in 2022 as a way to push myself out of my comfort zone and to connect with nature, the colder winter months are my absolute favourite. It's now not just about the cold, the water, or being outdoors, it's about the peace I find inside while surrounded by the water and the joy I have found sharing hot chocolates and chats with a community of women who share my passion."

A group for any LGBTQ+ folks to experience nature, community and connection in a beautiful, supportive setting.
Come and swim, dip or just chat with like-minded people over a cuppa. Discover how fantastic open water swimming and spending time in nature is for your mental health!

Every Wednesday at 5:30pm, first 6 sessions for free with code QUEERWATERS
