Aerial Yin Yoga is a fusion of the classical practice of mat-based Yin Yoga combined with the Aerial Yoga hammock. The Aerial Yoga hammock naturally follows the shapes of the body and supports the body there where it needs to be supported. The hammock can help make poses more accessible by carrying (part of) the body weight, while it can create more depth and intensity in other poses as well for those who prefer that. We can also actively use the hammock to apply stress by using the fabric to create pressure, to massage the body, in order to reduce tension in the soft tissue and stimulate the flow of energy.
